I totally can see Leisha rockin' this outfit that Janis is wearin'. Am I crazy or do you guys see it too?...the similarities that is. Are you guys even familiar with Janis Joplin or am I tellin' my age?...lololol
It's like history repeating itself. Janis died in 1970---Leisha was born a year later. Could Leisha be Janis reborn? One never knows.
Indie electro-pop rock meets the urban blues and soul singer of the 60's. I don't know what it is--but Leisha and Janis have soo many similarities as music artists: Stance, stage presence, facial features, fashion, aura, hair, passion for music...etc. Do you notice any differences besides the genre of music each has contributed to their generation? UNCANNY.....

yeah i know of janis joplin, i actually had a gal i worked w that was about as obsessed w janis as we are with leisha! but now that u've linked the two, i can totally see. besides all that u mentioned of course there's the whole gay factor- janice dated women! but never game out as gay or bi. eeeeeerie...
WoW Nitabe--I also knew about Janis and her liaisons with other women. She actually had just broke up with a woman before she died. But Janis was hooked on drugs really bad, oftentimes being high while she was performing. I guess that's a difference between her and Leisha; Leish doesn't do drugs. Well, maybe she did a little weed when she was with kd or before they hooked up. kd mos def smoked da weed. And you're right---it IS eeeeerrrrrrieeeeee.
lol yeah everyone tries a lil of the WD at least once in their life... everyone i know anyway. i guess if ur gonna do the drugs tho that's the most innocent one to do. but ur right, leisha doesn't do it and i'm thankful. i've heard about artists, for instance amy winehouse, being messed up while performing and people were definitely requesting refunds! ;)

i don't know where i read it, but there's some interview where Leisha talks about how she's tried several different drugs in her past. I'll see if I can find that again. She definitely isn't as hard-living as Janice was though, lol!
of course we've seen her tokin' up as alice several times, haha, though i'm pretty sure it's not real weed. (then again, it's the entertainment industry, who knows!)

Holy fucking shit. Now.. I am completely in love with Leisha. Just found out about Janis on Friday, or looked her up even after having read about her in a Leisha likes article. If you read return of the revolutionaries, past life reincarination - a scene I have bene blitzting for the past month, holy fucking godamm shit.. even the astrology of it all. i WAS loving Janis on Fri & her astrology and I could ttoally see that Leisha has come back with some blessing shse didnt' have as Janis and also by way of her astrology.
