Kate Moennig Interview Japan TV
OMG!!! Kate clearly does not want to do this interview....lololol. She appears indifferent, disconcerted and maybe a bit pompous...but she IS required to do these types of interviews to promote the show, not to mention she gets paid for it. I just find it funny how blatantly disinterested she is. Any guess on what she's thinking as she listens to the translations? I still love me some Kate Moennig. Watch the video and give me your opinion.

I laughed all the way though that...hehe...I really don't think she had a bad attitude. It felt more like the atmosphere was a bit awkward. From the tone of the english translator, they seemed to be happy for her to be there... and yeah Kate looked a bit antsy (particularly after her tea ran out..lol!) But could you imagine sitting through 2 translations before actually understanding what you are being asked? That has to feel pretty weird. I think I would look about the same as she did and be kicking myself that I didn't at least "fake book" the language! The good news is that people are lovin' the L all over the world!
LMAO@niki--Girl I laughed through the whole entire interview. Awkward just about sums it up..lolol. But when Kate ran outta that saki--I LOST IT...LMAO!!! I believe she just needed something in her hand just to get her through that Q&A. I could only imagine what she was thinking. It's times like these that I wish I was psychic. Hilarious!!!! Thank God for TLW.
Ooops saki! lol! I thought she needed something to do with her hands too! I would be wondering: Are they talking about me "behind my back" in front of my face? ROFL!! Seriously, it seemed to be a nice, sincere atmosphere...I'm sure it is always a little cumbersome on both sides though...ahhh to be a linguist!
I don't know about u niki--but I'm taking me a crash course in Japanese...lolol.
That had to be so uncomfortable...sitting there and wondering...what are they really saying...like niki said...are they "talking about me behind my back"...in front of my face...
yehhhh verrrry awkward! poor kate, i can definitely understand the language thing but at the same time it seemed to me that she disagreed or had a rebuttle for every question they asked... from the first one about her character to the what kinda alcohol do u like question, and she's like, i don't drink a lot. hahah i dunno, it did seem interesting. oh to be a fly on the wall for her and leisha's convo following that interview, lol...
