I THINK SHE'S A GENIUS!!!

I posted this video not for the content, but for the voice behind the music. Correct me if I'm wrong but this Murmurs song is from one of their albums entitled "Pristine Smut" produced by kd lang. I used to work at Blockbuster Music and was exposed to every genre of music known to man. The Murmurs was a cd that I always sold occasionally to my customers, but I failed to pick it up and listen. I regret that now because I really love the song "Genius". Leisha is not a "singer" compared to the likes of a Cheryl Crow or a Dido..etc etc, but she can hold a tune. Leisha's voice is unique and individualized with a certain soft innocence and a hint of naivete to it. I love it. This is what I would like to hear more of in UHH's sophomore album...I WANT TO HEAR MORE LEISHA.

Please take a moment and look at the vid, but pay attention to the song. LISTEN TO LEISHA SING, LISTEN TO THE QUALITY OF HER LOVELY VOICE... :)

Yeah I like that song too.

But I could never tell WHO sings at all.

Anne-Their voices are similar but still very different. They both sang the lead in the song "I See Red". Listen to the songs sung by each of them, and you should be able to tell the difference. Cam has a higher pitched vocal arrangement than Leisha. Leisha's voice is more monotoned, but very distinctive.
J-school--I can have you send the cd to my direct address if you prefer...let me know.

This song was played on an episode of TLW. In one of the earlier seasons, maybe 1 or 2.

Yeah it was played in the segment with Jenny and that character played by Laura Dern. Right after Jenny and Tim broke up.

Wow...I didn't realize they used it on the L! But I love the song...vocally and lyrically. I actually giggle everytime she says, "She's kinda freaky...she's kinda weird (kinda weeeiiird)..." Don't ask me why, but I giggle every time!

But i have to say i like Leisha singing in La Di Da a bit more. But that is just my opinion and heather's voice is not my favorite...
but it is all good.

I just listened to "la di da" and Leisha does sound good---and too me, Heather sounded like she was just screaming. Love Leisha though.
