EP -VS- ALBUM

Ok there has been some discussion on another board about which CD is preferred over the other. I personally like both Cd's, but I am smitten by the ep of "I See Red". I don't have a preference, but the ep does appeal more to my taste only because I love when Leisha sings the intro on "I See Red", and we hear more of her voice on the ep. Like someone said on the other website, you can also hear the differences in production on the two albums. Al Clay produced "Common Reaction", so it seems more commercialized and mainstream, which is cool too. But on the ep which Cam and Leisha produced, there is a more raw and rocker type of sound. I hear more acoustics...I love it. ;)
Do you guys have a preference

I feel the same, I love both but I prefer the rockier edge that the EP has. I prefer the EP version of Say So which Leisha sings on the EP but Cam sings on the album. Plus I See Red and Run are two of my favourites and they don't appear on the album. But having said that I adore Dreamer and Common Reaction from the album. All in all both the EP and the album have some great songs but the EP just has the edge for me because it is rockier, more raw and you can hear Leisha more.

Agreed. I like the ep more, mainly because it's not so commercialized. Edgier and raw are great words to describe it.

Yeah I liked the EP more too. But the Album is great too.

I like both of them.

They need to combine the two cd's and make it one...Who knows why they do what they do.

I definitely like the EP better, mainly beause I've actually heard it and own it.

Im only a little bitter about the fact that I still do not have Common Reaction. Stupid a** nettwerk. (yes, I censored myself)

haha, cool, i made that thread on the discussion board :) So I guess you already know, I like I See Red better for the raw, dark quality it has. Hey, it just shows that I like Cam's production style over Al Clay :)

Dag looks like I'm alone here, but I prefer the Album.
It could be b/c I own the Album and not the EP. However, I've heard all the songs off the EP and I like them too...but the album appeals to me more b/c of the tone...the added drums and guitar make it my choice!

Still wish "Mystery Lights" was on the album as a bonus song or something. Oh well, I luv the live version. kudos

J-did you call Nettwerk and cuss them out?!! You know--soo many ppl have not received their albums and it is really unfair. PPL have paid their monies well in advance of the release date and still fans are without their product. It just angers me.. >:0
