It's slow season and UHH are on a much needed hiatus. I hope they are working on some new material for their next album. I've never seen these photos before, but their pretty cool. On another disturbing note: {Rihanna's bruised photos have been released. I posted the graphic pic on Da Net under media scandals. I posted it for a reason, to bring awareness that their are thousands of young girls out there Rihannas age and younger who are abused by their boyfriends daily-it's becoming almost an epidemic amongst our young ppl and it has to stop. Rihanna is young-she can come out of this easily--but there are soo many young women who are not soo lucky. Chris Brown needs to atone for his actions. He really has to redeem himself on the malicious act he inflicted one of my favorite artists...March 5th is his court date. Rihanna will break her silence once the legal proceedings are over...but she needs to heal from this....take all the time you need babygirl--we'll be waiting.}

Cam & Lil Kim?

Looks like Cam is keeping busy while on hiatus. She's featured in the new Se7en video with Lil Kim called "Them Girls". Why have I never heard of Se7en? Apparently he's a hit all over Asia. I have to look him up. Anyway, I'm not sure when the video is due to be released, but it should be out pretty soon. Lil Kim has had soo many face lifts, booby lifts, breast augmentations, collagen's, botox--she's doesn't even look like the Lil Kim from back in da day. She's still one of my favorite female rappers nonetheless. If anybody knows where we can find a leak to this vid--plz divulge.

The Pro's n Con's List

Have you guys read some of the things on Alice and Tasha's pro's n con's list? It's rather interesting. One of the things I noticed on the the con's list from Alice is that they don't say "I Love You" to each other anymore. I think we've all noticed that. That's a major point with me and one of the things I'm mad with Ilene about. Bette and Tina say it to each other all the time. There's too many ppl rooting for these two...and even through all the bickering and bullsh..t, Ilene could have at least expressed in T&A the 3 little words that are soo important in a relationship.

HOW SEXY IS THIS KISS!!! I get goose pimples just looking at the lips alone. Both of them have the sexiest lips on TLW. Watch as Rose controls the upper labia of Leisha's lips, while Leisha commands Roses lower half. The softness...the sweetness...the tenderness...the closing of the eyes to embrace the love permeating through these two lovelies. It just makes you wonder--but of course it's wishful thinking as Leisha and Rose are very good friends on the real. SURREALISM

I can't believe it's almost here....and it will be gone just as quickly as it came. It seems surreal that it's all coming to an end. BTW...does everyone have Showtime? Can everyone get the show in their prospective areas? I know some of our international affiliates are unable to view it. Hopefully someone will download it to YouTube for you guys. Two more days for ep1 and I'm saddened--these women have become a part of us. We've followed their careers for 6 years...now what will become of our lives?...lolol. Well--I know I'll be following Leisha wherever she goes...can't wait for the follow-up interview when she goes on tour this spring. They will be missed....:(

Episode 8//WILL IT LAST?

I'm really worried--I wonder if the spinoff is really suppose to be a spinoff? Tash and Al start off working on their relationship, and even contemplating therapy--but I'm already anticipating the last episode on what decision they will make concerning their relationship. They have broken up a cajillion times and personally-I'M SICK OF IT!!! They need to work it out---ILENE!!! Sorry-sometimes it helps to get my frustrations out--and I know I'm not alone. Episodes 1-7 are a breeze to get through mainly because we yell, scream and cuss after the characters manage to piss us off--then we can look forward to the following week. But ep8 is the finale; the conclusion to all the storylines that have lasted 6 seasons of this history making phenomenon.
SO YOU TELL ME--WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN WITH THE RELATIONSHIP OF TASHA & ALICE IN EP8?

TANDUM MAGAZINE

Leisha doesn't think the Spinoff, (called The Farm) is going to fly with Showtime. Sho will air the pilot on their network in January, but who knows if it will be picked up. From what I have read on The L Word Online--it doesn't appear promising--but they thought the same thing about The L Word...and now we're going on 6yrs of success with the show. It won't matter to me either way, anything involving Leisha Hailey will have my full support. Check out the interview with UHH in Tandum Magazine as the girls explain their makeshift teepee to Leisha's hectic L Word schedule.

MY BIG ADVENTURE IN CHINA

Ok guys---I just got back from Shanghai and can I just say it was an EXPERIENCE!!!  Chinese people are straight hustlers.  First they like to crowd up 200 at a time on the subway-and everybody is in a rush to go NOWHERE.  They the fiestiest bunch of ppl.  I'm just glad I'm home.  So what's been going on while I was away?

It's been almost two years since this dark haired bassist joined our beloved L Word star to form the electro-pop phenomenon Uh Huh Her. Now she's transitioning from a struggling musician in her 20's--to a guitar wielding rocker woman in her 30's. I know Leisha, Nina, Clea, Kate, and Rose are gonna do her up right for her big three O. Here's wishing Cam the best in 09' and continued success throughout her career....WE LOVE U O MIGHTY DARK ONE!!!

MOST MEMORABLE OF 2008

Looking back on 2008 it was a tumultuous year, but we weathered the storm. For me, the most memorable moment was the second they announced Barack Obama as the next President of the United States. The 2nd best moment for me was interviewing Leisha over the phone (with noo interruptions)-then finally meeting her in Raleigh Durham-then SHE wanted to meet ME!! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN...lolol. Kirby was on line with me at the venue. She went all shy in front of....well I'll let her tell the story. I was also saddened by those we lost in 08'...let's not forget our troops who gave their lives fighting for our country. Last but not least, meeting some really fantastic people through this blog...Now tell us--what was the most memorable moment of 2008 for you....Please share. :)

Hey guys Kaye and I are building Leisha's Social Networking Forum. It's just something new and different for our diverse family to convene and have fun. I'm trying to get it up and running by the first week in January. Here's the catch, only our beloved members can join. Kaye and I have to screen all of our members due to some undesirables from other blogs infiltrating our cohesiveness. But we know who belongs and who doesn't. I hate to say it, but we do have haters out there that have nothing else better to do but to demean our blog all because of their jealousy. ALICIA WARRINGTON

Alicia Warrington I heard was a badass drummer that made up the trio of Uh Huh Her. As Leisha explains it, the [Her] in Uh Huh Her was synonymous to the group as a whole. It's an estrogenous band....At least they tried to keep it that way. But Alicia Warrington for whatever reason had to leave the group suddenly. But it's apparent that she is missed. By looking at the pics above, the threesome were close knit and very good friends. We don't hear about Alicia as much anymore since she left, which makes me wonder what the reason was for her departing the group in the first place. At any rate, I would have loved to meet this fantastic drummer...there's something about a woman with sticks that turns me on. If anyone has any idea on why Alicia left please share. Next time I speak with Leisha, I'll ask her about the original badass drummer of Uh Huh Her....Alicia Warrington.
